Vivo has launched one more variant of Vivo Z3i in China. The latest model Vivo Z3i Standard Edition, is mostly similar to earlier launched Vivo Z3i but the new model price starts at RMB 1,998 (approx Rs 20,000) instead of RMB 2,398 (approx Rs 24,000).
The smartphone comes in Aurora Blue, Dream Pink and Starry Night color options.
The key difference between Vivo Z3i and Vivo Z3i Standard Edition is that the new variant has an IPS LCD display while the regular Vivo Z3i featured an AMOLED panel. Rest of the specifications of the Standard Edition are same as Vivo Z3i.+
Vivo Z3i Standard Edition features a 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080×2280 pixels) LCD IPS panel along with a 19:9 aspect ratio and a screen-to-body ratio of 90.3 percent. This is unlike the original Vivo Z3i that had a 6.3-inch AMOLED display. However, rest of the specifications of the new model are identical to its original variant.
Under the cover, there is an octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 SoC, coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB).
The Vivo Z3i runs Funtouch OS on top of Android 8.1 Oreo.
In terms of Optics, Vivo has provided a dual rear camera setup on the Vivo Z3i that sports a 16-megapixel primary sensor along with an f/2.0 aperture and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor along with an F/2.4 aperture. For selfies, the smartphone flaunts a 24-megapixel sensor at the front along with an f/2.0 aperture. There are preloaded camera features, including AI Beauty, Backlight, Panorama, and Portrait Background Blur among others.
The smartphone also has a fingerprint sensor at the back as well as supports facial recognition using the front-facing camera. Moreover, the smartphone packs a 3,315mAh battery. Connectivity options on the Vivo Z3i include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and Micro-USB. Sensors on board include an ambient light sensor, gyroscope, and proximity sensor.
