In an official tweet from Xiaomi’s Global VP and India head Manu Kumar Jain, the Chinese giant has now announced that it’s slashing the price of the Redmi Y2, Redmi Note 5 Pro, and the Mi A2 by Rs 1,000. The price drop, Xiaomi says, is being extended to the customers to celebrate the company’s pole position in India’s smartphone market, as per the latest IDC report.

It’s better to be late than never! Motorola has officially announced Android 9 Pie update for the Android One-powered Motorola One Power. The Phone was launched with Android Oreo out of the box.

Android 9 Pie was officially released in August. The phone which currently has Android 9 Pie are Pixel devices, OnePlus 6/6T, Sony Xperia XZ3, Essential Phone and Xiaomi phones running on MIUI 10.

The Motorola One Power is part of the company’s new series of Android One smartphones in collaboration with Google.
